Don’t let the borders and colors buttons tempt you. They can be effective tools for drawing your readers’ attention to a certain part of your document, but if you use them too much your document will look unprofessional and your readers will become annoyed.

Outside Borders: Applies a border around selected text or objects.
Highlight: Highlights the selected text.
Font Color: Changes the color of the font.
