PDFs have always been an easy way to share documents. But thanks to e-readers, PDFs are even more useful than they were in the past. You can load PDF files onto your e-reader for later reading. For example, you can save articles you find online so you can read them offline later.
Fortunately, if you have Adobe Acrobat on your computer, creating PDFs from Web pages is easy.
To convert a Web page to a PDF, all you have to do is click the Convert button that Acrobat adds to your Web browser. It should be in the upper-left corner of your browser. Once you click the button, name your PDF and select a save location. It only takes a few moments for Acrobat to create the PDF.
Unfortunately, this method does not give you very many options. Acrobat will save the whole page as a PDF file using your default settings.
You can edit the PDF file later, but you may want to tweak some settings before you create the file. In that case, click the arrow the the right of the Convert button. Select Preferences. You'll have the option of changing certain settings such as paper size.
