Changing the Markup Viewing Options

When using Word's Track Changes feature, you have different options for viewing revisions. Some people like seeing the markup balloons in the document. Others prefer to see all the changes listed at the bottom in a separate pane.

To have comments or changes appear in balloons, use the following steps:

1. Click Show on the track changes toolbar
2. Hold the mouse over Balloons
3. From the submenu, click Always or Only for Comments/Formatting


To display the Reviewing Pane, use the following steps:

1. Click Show on the track changes toolbar
2. Select Reviewing Pane
