Running the Support.dot Template

The Support.dot template will help you resolve problems with your Word installation. Once you have the template installed, you’re ready to begin.

Open Word and click File>>Open.

In the Files of type box, select Document Templates (*.dot).

Browse to C:\Program FileMicrosoft Office\Office version\Macros.

Select Support.dot and click Open.

The file will contain a table. In the Macro column, select the macros you want to run. For example, click Troubleshoot Utility or Registry Options. You may also want to run the macro to back up your AutoCorrect options.
