Adding Headers and Footers to Your Documents in iWork Pages for the iPad

Headers and footers are a great way to provide information about the documents you create. You can add dates, document titles, and authors, among other things. iWork Pages for the iPad lets you headers and footers to your documents easily.

To add a header or footer to documents you create in iWork Pages for the iPad, just follow these simple steps:

1. Open your document in iWork Pages

2. Tap the Tools icon in the upper right side of the window

3. Select Document Setup in the popup menu

4. Tap the header or footer area in the Document Setup screen

5. Three boxes will appear in the header or footer section. Tap the left box to align your header or foot to the left margin. The center box centers the header or footer. Tap the right box to align the header or footer to the right margin

6. Use the keypad to enter your header or footer text

7. Tap Done
