WordPerfect - - Suppressing Formatting

By James Marshall, About.com

If you have a document formatted with headers, footers, watermarks, and/or page numbers and want to stop any or all of these elements from printing on specific pages, you can do so quite easily in WordPerfect. You can insert a Suppress code on any page that will suppress these elements.

To insert a Suppress code, follow these steps:

1. Position the cursor at the top of the page where you would like to suppress elements
2. From the Format menu select Page
3. On the Page submenu, select Suppress
4. In the Suppress dialog box, select the elements you wish to suppress by checking the boxes
5. Click OK

The elements will continue to appear on previous pages and on subsequent pages, unless you insert other suppress codes.
