WordPerfect - - Make It Fit!

By James Marshall, About.com

If you’ve ever tried adjusting margins, fonts, or line spacing to get your document to fit on a specific number of pages, you know that it can be a frustrating experience. Because you can’t see the changes as you’re making them, you have to keep opening dialog boxes and making changes, all the while hoping it will work. Fortunately, there is an easy way to adjust the number of pages in your document – and it will work perfectly the first time!

1. On the Format menu, select Make It Fit
2. In the Make It Fit dialog box enter a number in the box beside Desired number of pages (it can’t be less than 50% of the current number of pages in the document)
3. Under Items to Adjust, you can select or deselect items that you do not want WordPerfect to adjust
4. When you’re done, click Make It Fit
