Can I remove a toolbar altogether?

By James Marshall, About.com

Question: Can I remove a toolbar altogether?
Answer: You can add or remove toolbars in Word By right-clicking on the gray area around them. Word will present you with a list of all the available toolbars. The active toolbars (the ones currently displayed) will have a check mark to the left of their names. To add or remove a toolbar, simply click on its name.
