Tip of the Day: Listing all the Commands in Word
Friday December 24, 2004
You know that Word is one of the most powerful word processors on the market and that it is loaded with features. However, you may be surprised just how much Microsoft has packed into this program. If you want to satisfy your curiosity, you can have Word create a list of all the functions. Aside from just satisfying your desire for knowledge, this list does have some practical applications.
Once you have the list of commands, you can use it to help you learn the shortcut keys, and more importantly, it is a great reference guide when you're creating macros. When you assign a shortcut key for your macro, you can refer to the list to see if the shortcut key is already in use and if you want to overide the default setting for the shortcut key.
