Corel is gearing up for the launch of WordPerfect Office 12 on April 27. They're already offering a downloadable trial version of the suite on their website. While some features aren't available with the trial (I presume to speed up download time), those of you who are anxiously awaiting the new release can get a taste of it right now. If you do decide to download it, why not stop by the forum and let us know what you think about it.

Wordperfect 12 is a ripoff program. It allows you to use it for free NOT telling you that your documents will be confiscated by the program and held hostage unless you pay them to access your own documents at a later date. I will never allow any of my students to do business with them again.
Trial of Pages 09 for MacOSX also “traps” your documents, but does allow you to save in the older format to guarantee access.
Kent – If you’re expecting it to be FREE then yes it’s a ripoff. Software companies can’t make ALL of your programs for free. WAAAAAAAAh
The whole meaning of the word Trial is, you try out a program or product before purchasing to determine if its worth your purchase. Biff, I don’t see complaining about buying the program anywhere in their comments, so read carefully before being facetious! They are rightfully angry because a company offered a “free” trial period& the documents they created during that “free” trial period aren’t available unless they purchase the program.
All of you dont know *hit
